Full contact information for our references will be provided to practices once we have established a possible working relationship. (We used to post the full information here, but less-scrupulous people were trying to cherry-pick our client list!!!) These are actual client success stories which show the broad range of services that we can provide. We have many more success stories. Why not make your practice one of them?
M.D.This doctor called us in a pickle. A planned separation from a group practice wasn't going as well as he had hoped. He needed all new provider numbers-- for insurance companies in multiple states, due to the unique location of the practice-- and in a hurry. Within a week we had his credentialing started, and a web-based comprehensive billing and scheduling package programmed and installed so he could begin scheduling patients. Within 3 weeks he had a new Medicare number. We audited his fee schedule and found one procedure that was underpriced by more than 100%. Increased revenue from that procedure alone paid our billing fee. He received his first check just 16 days after opening. His first month's billings were $70,000 greater than at his old practice. We are now programming a specialty-specific Electronic Medical Record template to be used in our integrated practice management system!
P.T.We took over their billing from their prior billing company in June 2004. They had been with this other company since the inception of their practice six years ago. The prior billing company was paid on a “per claim” basis-the practice paid for the service whether the claim was paid or not. We (and they!) are happy to report increases of over 45% per month in their revenues since we took over.
D.C.We have done Doc’s billing and a myriad of other consulting tasks since 2000. For a short period, Doc took his billing back in-house, convinced that he could save money. This move cost him $50,000-75,000 in lost revenues in just a few months time due to an inexperienced biller. We have had his billing back since March 2003.
P.T.We have completed their billing since opening in spring 2003. Our Client is a PT, OT, speech, and hand therapy clinic. We have taken several of their patient cases to second-level Medicare appeals; and one to bankruptcy court in order to protect our client’s interest. They appreciate our medical and business consulting input on everything from fee schedules to coding to analyzing their profit and loss statement.
D.C. We assumed Doc's billing from a prior billing company and were able to recover approximately $30,000 of charges their prior company had written off as unrecoverable due to missing modifiers, bundling of codes, and more. They just weren't experienced in chiropractic billing! He continues to enjoy aging accounts receivable percentages far below the national benchmarks.
M.D. Doc was our very first client. We completed his daily billing work until he retired on April 30, 2003 from practice as a rehabilitation and end-of-life care physician. We were also responsible for coding his work based on transcribed office notes.
D.C. We have had Doc's billing since he started his practice in early 2003. He has had one of the most rapid growth spurts we have seen. He finds our Workers Comp knowledge and contacts to be of the most assistance; as well as our tenacity in getting things paid and scrapping with PI attorneys and insurance carriers who want to reduce his payment.
P.T.This Tennessee PT clinic found us through the Internet, much like yourself. They called us in a panic because the other billing company they had hired had been unable to collect a dime for them in almost 5 months!!! Why? They were inexperienced in physical therapy billing, judging by the simple mistakes we were seeing on denied EOBs. Within two weeks, we had their revenue stream started and were able to recover most of the money that had been lost or pended by the other billing company.
D.C. Three DCs hired us on a short-term startup contract to set up a new billing system for their new Satellite office. Their plan was to have us do the billing for the first year, then buy their billing system and data, and take their billing in house. We trained their new biller and handed off their billing in June 2004. We were also able to secure their Medicaid provider number in just four days’ time (that has to be some kind of record.)
D.C.Doc moved here from the Atlanta area. He finds our knowledge of local health plans and Workers Comp to be the most useful; as well as the intricacies of chiropractic coding. He notes that chiropractic coding and billing really is its own animal; and appreciates the time, effort, and money we invest in training that is specific to his specialty.
D.C./P.T.Doc has seen his revenues jump over 100% since starting with us in early fall 2004. His Kats Management coach has noted that our A/R collection rate is almost 20% higher than the average outsourced billing company rate that they are accustomed to seeing. He is now expanding into therapy and is looking for a DC associate to help with his growing practice.
We have recently secured contracts for more practices, a couple of which have multiple physicians and locations. Watch for future success stories to be posted here!
