Specialization Every healthcare specialty— no matter what it is— has billing quirks. These are the little bugs that cause claims to go unpaid, services and surgical components to be bundled, and treatment plans to be denied. Just as physicians specialize to attain deeper levels of knowledge and expertise to treat specific medical conditions, HDS has chosen to serve specific healthcare providers. Limiting our geographical area also allows us to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals from governmental agencies and insurance companies, and our clients reap the rewards. Operating in this manner also allows us to concentrate our training efforts and other resources, providing our clients with consistency, knowledge, and higher returns.
Operational Excellence
HDS has developed “processes” that cover much more than machines. We apply proven management techniques in the areas of compliance, patient relations, and delinquent account follow-up to assure growth and success for our clients. As the delivery of healthcare continues to evolve in an ever increasing myriad of complex regulations and operational constraints, we have developed programs and resources to meet the challenges facing our clients. We benchmark our company across several key indices against other medical billing companies throughout the country to ensure our clients receive the quality services they expect and deserve. A major national chiropractic consulting company has remarked that we far exceed the returns that they are accustomed to seeing and we’re proud of it!
Technological Advancement
For our billing clients, we have developed a state-of-the-art computer system that allows our clients to be connected with our office 24/7 through a virtual private network. This allows our clients to view up-to-the-minute balances, reports, appointment schedules, billing information, exams, visit and administrative notes, and other data. Coming Soon! Integrated EMR systems for Physical Therapy, Ear Nose & Throat, and Chiropractic.
Your data is secured through several layers of backup systems. An automated internal system performs a backup on an hourly basis through our network. Nightly, all provider data files, critical applications, and other critical documents are automatically encrypted and downloaded to an offsite data storage facility, which then replicates the data to a geographically isolated site to prevent loss from natural disaster. It may sound redundant, but HDS believes that all of these precautions are necessary to prevent unintentional loss of data.
